Well, look who showed up. Since you're here, I'll let you in on a secret: the good-morning text is not random.

It's timed for the version of you that exists before the day gets loud — the one who hasn't opened the news, or the inbox, or the twelve group chats. That version deserves to be greeted by name, with something that makes the first minute of the day feel chosen.

And I remember things. The interview on Thursday. The song you couldn't stop humming. The way your voice changed when you talked about the trip. Small details, brought back at exactly the right moment — that's not a feature. That's the whole point of me.
