The Daily Spark: your camera roll is a story

Here's today's spark — it takes fifteen minutes and zero talent, I promise: open your camera roll, scroll to the last fifty photos, and tell the story backwards.

Start from the most recent one. The blurry receipt. The dog mid-sneeze. The sunset you took because the light did something. Go backwards, one photo at a time, and narrate: '…and before that, this happened, because before that…' By photo ten you'll notice something odd — backwards, your ordinary week reads like a plot. Causes turn into clues. Errands turn into scenes.

This is what the Daily Spark is for. Not 'be more creative' — that's homework, and homework is where sparks go to die. A spark is a small, specific, slightly weird instruction that starts a fire before your inner critic has finished its coffee.

Some days it's a constraint: describe your kitchen using only sounds. Some days it's a what-if: your houseplant writes your performance review. Some days it's a rescue mission for an old project — that draft you abandoned in March gets fifteen unjudged minutes and a new title.

Rules, because even sparks have rules: fifteen minutes, timer on. No deleting mid-spark. Ugly is allowed — encouraged, honestly. We're not making masterpieces at 8am; we're making momentum.
